Went to the gym for the first time in I don’t even know how long. Was only able to do 1/2 mile on the treadmill... but it’s a start. Can’t push it too hard because of back problems, but will push some.

know your body and limitations. a little exercise is better than none because you've hurt your back. I pushed too hard 4 days ago, knowing I was pushing, and I'm still on ice not able to move much.

1/2 a mile is great! I agree with being cautious, and not over doing it, but in the long run getting out there is success in of itself! A little bit each time will make a difference in your overall wellbeing. Good luck!
