Maintenance Calorie Trajectory ---> Week 30 --> Vitality --> Leaness --> Strength Edition
Well, we're at week 30 so far and I seem to be holding steady at 137, with the input of those two 2400 cal days per month. I must say, I'm thankful I was able to work those days in. They will come in handy this summer for days I want to go out, or weekend bbq's.
Today, I also decided the above 3 words in my subject line are genuine goals I am keeping in mind with regards to lifestyle and fitness in this journey.
Vitality ---> Leaness --> Strength
There's a lot of different ways those three concepts can present themselves in our lives. I look forward to exploring how they continue to be manifested and cultivated in my own.
Anyhow, I put my 1964 cal day on Friday this week. It's been working out lately that I put the highest cal day on a Friday, because I have physical therapy on those days and it's less challenging to arrange going out to dinner afterward so Mama doesn't have to come home and cook after driving around everywhere.
This Friday, we're going back to the Maryhill wine tasting room and having a glass of wine. She has a coupon for a free glass for her birthday, which was back on the third and we want to use it before the month is up. They have a wonderful charcuterie board we always like to share when we go there. So, it will be a good time to use some calories.
Today, was also the first day I mowed the lawns. This will now be an every weekend affair up until October and I do count it as another form of cardio. To that end, my fitbit will likely show a 2400-2500 cal burn for today as I had my workout on the recumbent bike, took my 40 minute walk because I basically live in a state park, and put in lawn time. I sometimes wonder what the burn will look like when we open the pool. That will be the last of the cardio to add.
I know there are some that don't like cardio. I'm not one of those people. It just happens to incorporate a lot of activities this girl thoroughly enjoys. However, I will say that birding does not include cardio and it is above and beyond my ultimate blissful hobby. And, if Bald Eagles and other raptors are involved - you couldn't move me from a spot. But, that's a whole different journal and a whole other forum, LOL.
I hope everyone had a wonderful, blessed weekend!
Take care and I will check in next weekend {{Hugs}}
