Diario di qapl, 26 giu 14

i started this journey exactly a year ago today. since then i've come a long way both in body and mind and reflecting where i am now compared to where iwas back then i'm truly a different person in more ways than 1!!

I have lost around 31½ kgs (31,4 kg to be exact not that i'm counting) to date and these last 5 kgs are determind not to be shed (at least thats what it feels like rigth now). however, i am not detered by this in fact i'm probablly more stubborn than these last 5kgs and i will reach AND maintain my goal weight. i have finally come to understand that these things take time i'm in no rush i've got my whole life to live out this new relationship and we are going to have our ups and downs but we'll get through it one day at a time. i'm in love with the "new" me, yes i still have "problem areas" (my bingo wings will annoy me forever) and have days where i look in the mirror and notice all the lumps and bumps but during this journey i've come to the conclusion that thats just who i am and if i'm truley unhappy then i can change it. I know i can i'm living the proof of that every day.

So as i look out of my window at the thunder clouds and wathch the lightning strike across the sky i am reminded of all the different types of power in life and can honestly say (for once) that i'm in control of my destiny i am (s)he-(wo)man
