Yes, community eating can be a challenge. Portion control has helped me. Small on the entree, big on the salad greens. You never know the ingredients and calories in something dont prepare at home so some guessing may be involved. Absolutely, write it all down. I kept a little spiral notebook as a journal. I tend to do better with weight goals when I keep my goals to myself i

What SLY said - pic + post, log later. Pictures are a great way to document.

You can definitely write down what you are eating and then enter it later. I often need to modify a past day’s entries if I realize I forgot something or need to change the quantity or maybe I find a better item in the database.

Hmm. Photos are even better; Idk if im able to photo. We can have phones but not be on it constantly. Kinda concerned about being looked at funny by other 2 teachers 🤣 might start a lil notebook first.

If I eat away from home I try to get a photo. If I'm in a resteraunt sometimes I take a photo of what I'm ordering on the menu. If phots aren't possible a little notebook you can jot down in ingredients in is good.

Is there a monthly menu that could help? You could use it as a way to plan or to reference afterwards. I bet a friend in the kitchen could hook you up 😉

use your best judgement if you have to play catch up with your diary.
Some of those items are probably pretty close to accurate if you just log the food by individual ingredients.
They will have everything measured accurately in portions .
It's great way to learn new recipes and this app is super easy for moments like that.
Just check in your diary every day.

Yes, I vote pictures too. It can be really helpful. Also you might me able to use the ladle to judge how much you scoop. A lot of ladles are 4oz and serving spoons are closer to 2oz
