KCET has a series called “lost Los Angeles” and it covers how early developers removed a lot of the hills in the basin itself and some other interesting history. Some good, some ugly, but interesting.

Katsolo— good show. They are still cutting these hills down shovel by shovel to build housing tracts. Have you driven out the 91 toward Riverside lately? Those beautiful hills are disappearing
