Scales haven't moved the last few days, but I think it will be a good one tomorrow ☺
Going to try and exercise a bit more:
1) Try and go for a short walk before breakfast. I have to take a thyroid tablet 1/2 hour before breakfast, and usually slope off back to bed and read, doze or whatever (one of he joys of retirement!), however I will try and persuade myself to get dressed and go out for 10-15 mins walk instead. If raining, I could jog on the spot for 5 mins instead.
2) Add some more exercises for strength and flexibility. Have been working on legs and aerobic fitness. Now want to add a little something for core and arms. Have worked out a little routine, which I have to do before I'm allowed to have dinner (allowed by myself, that is). Going to try and do that every day, but if that's too much, then every other day. Every day would be better. Keeping the weights and reps really low so that I don't hurt myself. Just want to get in the habit of doing it!
Also, first day of using the step-counter app. 6000 steps by walking to the barn and back, plus a trip to the chemist and Co-op. No worries! It said the barn and back is about 1.4 miles, probably about right.
