This is a message i send to one of the fatsecret buddies, but i describes acurately how i feel at the moment, so i really feel i should be in my journal:
__________________________ i myselve hate cooking, so i hardly take the time eather to do it right... as ready as it gets is good enough for me, but i found that if you take a little more time while doing the groceries, it pays out during the cooking.
I make a list with what i'm should eat during the week, and trie to buy all the healthy foods for that... Now that i have a weekly plan, i find myselve sticking to that plan because i also hate food going bad... and i usually don't divert from the list.
My biggest problem left is the social eating, wich makes me eat when i'm not hungry, eat foods i don't even like, and overeat so i'm not the first person te finish the meal and stare at the plates of others....
this week (starting tomorrow) i'm going on a small little holliday on my own, and i really wonder if i can get back into the zone without the peer-pressure... but maybe i rekindle with my old eating problems like lonelyness and boredom?
today i'm thankfull for: - dark chocolate (wich reduces my stress, makes me feel very comfy and happy, but is not as calorie-rich as cheese, cake, pizza or ...) - hungre (wich makes me feel as if i'm loosing weight on the spot, i bet i can stand on my scale (the wii) and watch the grams drop) - my son (always) - the prospect of a nice holliday all alone, without oblications (except a sauna planned on wednesday, and some fun visits with some friends i don't spend enough time with usually) - having had a special cat that got me through puberty (died 2000) - having had a dog that got me through adulthood sofar (died 2009) - my horse (who is just the sweetest thing and always deserves more than she is getting) - the sun returning to the days of our lives. with the promise of a nice warm spring. - computers and lotro - having met my hubbie. - god and his challenges.
very thankfull today i guess (*lol*)
