Funny how there are times in my week (particularly closer to the weigh in than anytime else) that I reflect on how I could have done better with my choices. Sometimes it seemed my choices were making themselves - and all I had to do was obey. Sometimes I do well. Sometimes I aspire to greatness. When the scales and my clothing doesn't reflect positively...yeah....so I've discovered my path is crooked. It's overgrown with weeds and brambles in places, and well-worn in others. It's never ending. The one thing I've learned through this non-challenge is to never give up. There may be a few days when life is crazy and hectic and I say "I don't care" and yet I really do. I continue to try to find what works for me. There will be unsuccessful and successful days. I know all the pieces of the healthy lifestyle puzzle, it's just putting them together in a pattern that works for me.
