Seven years ago this month I started a weight loss journey by September I had lost 83 pounds felt great. I did it alone, cooking different meals for me and the hubby. He wouldn't do it with me as the next few moths passed life happened Mom had surgeries and complications, a lot of time spent in hospitals eating bad foods on the go. For months I had to go to moms three times a day to give her antibiotics by IV not leaving much time to prepare good food so started the groove of eating unhealthy and putting the weight back on. Seven years later I have gained all but 30 pounds of the 83 lost back. A week ago today I finally got the hubby on board with eating healthy and changing our bad habits. We started with a fast for 24 hours than started eating about 95% better with no soda or tea, only water. A week later I am down 10 lb and the husband lost an outstanding 18 lbs! I am so excited to do this together and hope we can keep it up together no matter what life throws at me this time! I am so proud of him for doing this and hoping he sticks with it to allow us many many more years together!Here is to week two of our new lifestyle change!
