I'm getting mad because i did overeat twice this past week but only about 500 calories, was in deficit the rest of the week plus working out plus i was on my period so i feel i should have lost weight but didn't :/. trying to not get discouraged!!!!!!

I wrote too long of a post and deleted it because I feel I am just projecting. However, I just want to say that you shouldn’t be too hard on yourself. You are well on your way to getting healthy! Whatever mistakes you’ve made with your diet, you can correct them!

Make a real plan, and then execute your plan. Choose a nutrition plan you can follow over the long term, and add activity tree or four days a week. I suspect you expect yourself to be perfect and may have an "all or nothing" mentality so you have one "bad" day and give up for a while. Stay with it - you can do it!

I just told my daughter I have body dysmorphia I’m a size 18 who think she’s a size 12. Lots of us don’t realize are true weight. It’s the ups and downs of that is a struggle so let go of the extra calories. This to shall pass. So do the best you can today’s 😘

It’s tough sometimes! I’ve learned that if I don’t get a 500 cal deficit every day for 6-7 days and less than 75 carbs per day, well sorry Charlie, no pound loss for you this week! Just da way it be! 😡 Beans? Love’em but too many carbs for me! Be a good girl! No cheating! 😇

For me, expectations suck out my happiness. I must stay plugged into my 'gratefulness' to not 'spin out'. Good luck!

I understand completely! So tired of the roll across my back, but do not get discouraged. There are wonderful people here all on the same journey, so you are not alone. You can do this. 😄

Try to remember that while losing weight you will come across plateaus where you won't lose weight. Change things up when this happens. Your body will become accustomed to a routine if you stick too rigidly too one. So, alter your calorie intake, do an intermittent fast (where you take in far fewer than normal calories, it sucks...but you can do it for one day right?), change up your workout routine....you can do different things like this to help during plateaus.....but you got this!

It's a process - the plateau's can be motivation killers - I had to change things up in diet, working out, water intake in order to get past it. If you maintain the work effort and try different things, you will get past the plateau. Rememer, Hard work will always yield great results
