Rosio I was Expressing how I was feeling. And your comment bothers me. Of course I don't want the man that I love to b gone for the next year, good grief I'm only going to see him a few days a month for the next year. We have been together for 14 years. I didn't stop him or throw a fit. That would be unfair. And I resent that fact that you think I'd b so selfish. Who r u to judge me! Anyway, he left about 12:30 we both were teary eyed. So I'm throwing myself into the housework and I have some Christmas lights I picked up last night I'm going to hang. Thank god for Facebook. Never thought I'd ever say that. With facetime this year should b easier. Lol he's already called me.

My roommate was a truck driver before/when he moved in. It is tough work, especially being away from loved ones. I like your ideas to keep busy with the holiday decorating! Best wishes.

have you got video call options? distance will always be distance but it's not as bad as it used to be. he will be home in no time? anyone who has ever had to work away from a partner will understand how much it hurts 🤗

We video chat on Facebook. He's already called 3 times and facetime once. Lol. He will b back Christmas eve. Leave Christmas day and I have no clue when he'll b back. We r hoping for new years!

You have a good attitude about the separation. I travel for my work sometimes and leave my husband for 6, 7, or 8 nights in a row. I miss him and he hates it so I truly understand. We also use Facetime a lot.
