I choose to skip out on the Indian Buffet... I just bankrolled it. :)
We will have a family dinner tonight with my kids mom's family. It should go fine.. but Mom tends to cause drama... .even 4 years after the big D... meh.
Why oh Why.. I still try to fix it though.

FD, I am soooooo proud of you!!! That is simply fantastic!! And I am sure that you can get through the drama tonight!! Just keep reminding yourself, that you aren't that person any more. You are a new, trimmer, more in control adult man, and if she wants to play the drama game, let her. If you don't participate, she will not be able to play, as it is no fun when no one gets all worked up!! Hope that the dinner is great! And enjoy your kids!

All went fine with only minor tension.. so hard when your kids don't really want to go..and yet I make them. I have practically nil family left on my side...and their mom has TONS. So...
I successfully avoided the potatoes and the cake...and a tiny taste of icing tho. :) All in all... a good day.
