I think you have a great plan. Mini goals are always good. I think I should set some for myself. We miss you!  

You want to be 14 by the end of the month? Are you anti-aging - let me know your secret!!! lol Anyway, have a great 4th weekend!!!!

And as far as going south... we usually go to Smithville once a summer, but thats it. I love our NJ Shore, but can't stand the Bennys - SORRY!!!!! LOL And the traffic... oy! But if you visit anywhere near me, like Pier Village in Long Branch, or something like that, let me know! 

Ha, MOTG. Bennys. When we were 13 or 14 we used to yell that on the side of the road. I think my surfer friends made signs once. Now I see kids doing that and I laugh. I hate driving around the shore with my NY plates. I always want to tell people, "I grew up here!" I much prefer the beach in June and September.  

Yay!!! Great goal. We have the same one. Let's do this together!!! 140 by end of the month. :)  

PS what is a Benny?  

Chris - LOL!!! I forget what it stands for exactly.... Brooklyn, Edison, New York, Newark, Yonkers maybe..... but essentially, its the people from North Jersey and New York that come down to the beautiful Jersey Shore in the summer, and muck it up! You know, like the ones on that horrible MTV show Jersey Shore. ( ;

shoobie is a term used in South Jersey to describe a tourist who visits the seashore for a brief period of time, primarily to use the beach during the summer months. Shoobie is used in resort towns along the southern Jersey Shore, between the areas of Long Beach Island and Cape May. The term "shoobie" originated in the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, and it allegedly derives from the habit among tourists of bringing everything they needed in a shoe box. Items can include a towel, suntan lotion, and food. The term "shoobie" may also derive from the fact that tourists are more likely to wear their shoes on the beach. Homeowners (whether year-round or seasonal) often walk to the beach barefoot or remove their shoes immediately upon reaching the sand.[1] A similar term is "Benny," which is mostly used in the resort towns of the northern Jersey Shore. Shoobies are essentially a mixed blessing for local beach residents. They bring in enormous revenue during the summer months, but at the same time they add numerous obstacles and annoyances to day-to-day life. In that sense, shoobies are not unlike the tourists that descend on any resort area.
