Winter storm advisory today, snowing now and we have to drive to Spokane to pick up our batteries! Oh boy!

Up on the scale today. I have not recorded it yet. Nuts and a little popcorn. I imagine its the sodium more than the nuts. I had one meal yesterday. A bowl of lentil curry soup and a taco salad. It will come back down.

Mom finally made it to her sisters house. She had the trip from the hot place though. Once she finally landed in California her shuttle service had screwed up and arrived at noon instead of of 1 the time she rescheduled them for after her flight was cancelled on Saturday. She was madder than a wet hen! Ended up having to lay another shuttle service $45 to get her to her sisters home. I'm glad she's safe and sound but not happy she had to deal with all that.

Time for me to get showered and dressed for our winter drive. Figures. The only day of significant snow is today. This ought to be interesting!

I will catch up with you all later. In the mean time I am grateful ....

For a good meal and a movie yesterday with DH
Knowing that what goes up will come back down.
Fitting into a pair of pants yesterday I have not been able to wear.
That I am not driving alone today to Spokane.
And life ... As my friend Keld always says ... Life is good!
