What do y'all put in brown rice or do for flavor?

Add feta cheese fluid to it. We do this with pasta too. Just some, not a vat of it.

You could sautee it with sesame oil, soy sauce and garlic to make fried rice.

When I used to eat rice I liked 1 tbsp minced garlic, 2 tbsp fresh thyme & 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice mixed in it.

Use homemade broth (chicken or beef, etc) instead of water to cook. It’s very absorbent of flavor especially if you cook it in an Instapot or something!

Chopped up chicken thighs and a little salt and or butter.. I'm simple. I go with basmati usually.

Nothing- I eat it as punishment for allowing myself to get fat. No flavoring allowed. Period!

First of all, I toast my rice in a dry pan on the stove to bring out its nutty flavor, then I use either low sodium chicken stock or vegetable stock to cook it in. I also like to add mushrooms to brown rice. Depending on your WOE you can add a few toasted walnuts and a few golden raisins.

I only use brown jasmine rice, which is flavorful on its own.

i cook it in reduced sodium chicken broth, and coat the grains in melted butter.

I carmelize a 1/4 of an onion and the flavor it adds to brown rice is amazing!
