I put an article source on my journal about your diagnosis. Google CPPD DISPOSITION DISEASE and choose the one from the American College of Rheumatology. Are you Keto?

Keyten— you have CPPD as well? It is not the same thing as gout.

@Keyton77 . I have read lots of articles on internet. Pretty much have info overload at this point..lol. I do have Hashimotos and Reynards, which are also auto immune. I do not do Keto. Im in maintenance mode now but have been doing low carb, low fat, and high protien. It worked very well for me. Lost almost 40 lbs on it. I have a nutritionist and she is also researching eating plans for me. Im trying to go no processed, which Ive done before.

Oh, Diana, I am so sorry. My autoimmune disease started with extreme pain and swelling. I did as much research as possible and found that a diet with no preservatives and additives was the most beneficial. My trigger foods contain nitrates and nitrites. No longer have pain and only rare occasions of swelling. I am now able to lift on a regular basis and include Yoga. Have also remained on the same low dosage of anti-spasm meds and have gone from weekly infusions to every 21 days. Hope this helps Kenna and keyten have given some great advice.

Diana, have you ever heard of Katsuzo Nishi. He was focused on health and eating healthy. you can find his book on Amazon. autoimmune diseases now are more frequent than we tend to admit. Sad thing is that it is because of what we eat. I would advice you to to do some things like fasting, dont eat read meets..., but I dont think I in position to do it.
the best it to do research on your own. when you get overwhelmed stop, take a break.
and if you can get Nishi's book, do it. read it, it just may help to find the answers. best of luck!

@skilin1978 I have not heard of him but will definetly check him out! Thank u for info! I find it interesting because up till about 3 months ago I was doing about 80% no processed but I was trying to eat alot of protien as I was trying to build muscle. I dont really like red meat so if I do 75 gs of protien a day that was good for me..I see now that I may have to incorporate other meats/fish in diet.and o t he

I'm sorry to hear. My aunt was diagnosed with a crippling, incurable arthritis disorder. She started to improve her strength by swimming - she had to start with just moving her fingers slightly. She is really in shape now, entered body training competitions, does yoga several times a week, has a perfect shape. Swimming can be your friend or water exercises to reduce stress on the joints.

SEE THIS: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/pseudogout/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20376988 and stop calcium supplements if you are on them. Use Vitamin D to increase parathyroid uptake, decreased deposition of calcium deposits. See also this: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/pseudogout/diagnosis-treatment/drc-20376988 -- you already know it's not gout but check treatment section. DO NOT DESPAIR. Rest in between weights.

It's 'incurable' simply because the have no pills for it. It is very curable with diet. Replace grains and sugars with good fat s a good start.
