I’ve been content with maintaining in the 150s but didnt want to get this high or stay here for too long. It’s been too long. This morning I realized that I won’t have clothes for my trip next Friday. All I do is work and workout so I forgot that my “going out” clothes are gonna be too tight. The jeans are 8 and small 10s 😞 So what will I do about it? I’m at the gym. I had another crappy night sleep. About 4.5 hours so I wasn’t going to go this morning. But after dropping off the kids I figured I better go and do what I can now before I go home and start meal prepping and eating 😪 wish me luck. I stopped in Publix to get a snack. Starbucks cubano: 60 cals and chicken empanada: 220 calories. Hopefully it will be enough to wake me up!

Dawnie- do you have something like a black or khaki casual skirt you could wear instead of jeans and pants ? That would still look casual with a tshirt untucked and sandals or sneakers. Nothing more uncomfortable than wearing tight pants ! Have fun on your trip. I lived in nyc from the age of 21-34..... good times.😄

I agree with Crazy, a skirt will be more comfortable than tight jeans, and it will be much cooler. As for spanx, it's just a fancy word for an old-time girdle. Been there, done that, never again.

I had a pretty lazy day after the gym and food prep and I went over my calories by 50. I wanted cookies but settled for a 70 cal fiber one bar so it could have been worse.

I don't "get" Spanx. I think only skinny people fit into Spanx! I tried to try some on in a store once and couldn't get them passed my knees. I figured that, once I got them over my waist, the "spillage" would be worse than the original bulges!

Yuck to spanx! I know you can pick up good deals in thrift stores but my golden rule during weight loss is only shopping for clothes because my wardrobe is too big. i would not buy larger size pants or jeans. Look in your closet and think out of the box. Maybe a tunic style dress worn with sneakers and a denim jacket......instead of how you might have worn it for work.

I wear a uniform at work so my wardrobe is quite small. I do have clothes that I rarely wear because I’m more of a T-shirt and jeans kinda girl. Mostly because I’ve always been over weight and just wore what was comfortable and inexpensive since I was always trying to lose weight. I do have 2 dresses I’ll bring with me and I’m going to buy a pair of leggings for the trip. I can always use more leggings 😆

A strong rubber band thru the button hole looped over the button gives some waist room in pants and shorts.

CrashtestDawnie, I have fajas, they do help me with my waist, I used to wear them every single day.

Thanks Garnet that’s a good tip! Most of my pants are too tight around the butt and the calves 😑 That’s my fault for buying only skinny jeans lol
