Ok so I am making milestones within myself. Today I ran 4.6 miles today (took an hour but so what), burned 864.3 calories (woohoo) BUT my weight has not budged AT ALL and from my understanding cardio is the best way to burn fat......not build muscle. Am I missing something? I only have 5 pounds to lose and I’m in a calorie deficit wth???

You are going to get a lot of opinions but my opinion is that you burn fat by not eating fat. Cardio will burn calories but not enough to counteract most calories that you are eating.

Is your Calorie intake below 1,500? Also, we hit walls & can be frustrated. Give it a couple weeks & the pounds will follow.

Yes I overall feel great. I am taking in about 1500 calories a days. I am definitely not taking in 2000 calories. I eat clean overall I am a vegetarian so I eat a lot of veggies but I do implement meatless meat. It I did just realize my cycle will be here soon so I’m hoping this bloat and water weight. But I am trying to continue to stay focused and not let the scale affect me.

How are you Measuring your portions? Many times we underestimate how much we are eating and overestimate our calories burned through exercise. Weight can be anything from water, clothes, undigested food... So if you’re eating something that holds onto onto water that would be part of your weight too. Awesome awesome job on getting within five lbs of goal. I do have a question though, why don’t you want to build muscle?
