I’m genuinely not trying to start an argument but it’s not the ‘Chinese virus’ it’s name is Covid-19 

@lightbulb124 Well the virus did come out of China... Just like the Spanish flu came from Spain 

It had a name already though. Considering who named it the ‘Chinese virus’ (and continues to peddle that xenophobia) it wasn’t intended to accurately portray its origins.

Janet, don't let all this squabbling about the NAME Of the virus get to you. Keep on posting, and keep on coming here for support, which is what MOST people want to give to you. 

Sooooo much everywhere on tv news , papers and social media Can I respectfully suggest that seeing as we are all trying our best to focus on our weight battles during a very stressful time (which doesn’t help people who eat because of stress ) that we make FatSecret a Covid -19 free zone ????? There’s so many other platforms for these discussions if people wish to have them. No problem there at all Let’s just use this one for our weight journey. Just sayin 🤫🥱🤭🤔

@apefarfalla actually, Spanish flu originally came from the USA, lol 

I no longer eat bats, dogs and exotic rare animals that are knocked down out the back. I thought was very important, at least from my perspective, to take a good look at myself and what I was eating.
