Day 56 of Insanity... still can't do all of each of the intervals... but I console myself with the fact that a lot of people, especially my age, wouldn't even attempt this workout routine. See? If ya think hard enough, you can justify ANYTHING. Today it was a solid 45 min. of cardio - Max Cardio Conditioning AND a short ab routine, like 20 min. or so, called Cardio Abs. That's tough... I still don't know if I even POSSESS lower abs! :D Okay, not true, but wow... I can't imagine being able to do those perfectly.
Blew it big time last night...too much food. I let my frustration get the better of my judgement. I'm sure THAT won't help me with the scale! But hopefully, having had around 10 cups of water, maybe that'll help flush out some of the food? I don't know. I ate fairly good things, just too many of them. Two bad things - "organic" cookies and "organic" snack bar. Sure, the ingredients ARE organic, and in my head, better than some of the crap out there with high fructose corn syrup or fractionated palm oil (used in a lot of protein bars, even my beloved ones...) but when it gets down to it...it's sugar in the body. Oh well, today has been different. I woke up definitely NOT hungry. And though I NEVER work out without having had breakfast, today I did. I just didn't think I could put more food in my stomach. Oh, I burned more calories than I ate, but that doesn't really seem to matter to MY body! Sheesh. Anyway, I did both workout routines before I felt hungry enough to eat something. But tonight feels like a wine night. I'm blaming Klannoye (again - blamed her already for talking about mexican food yesterday!). Now watch...she will finally catch up on ALL that sleep she's been missing, won't go out with hubby, feel bad about blowing him off and blow off her sister for the party tomorrow. AND THEN she'll still be "good" (cause that's how she IS) and have a little drink, maybe a light beer. And pretend to drink with her man, just to keep him company. Oh, and order ANOTHER salad beforehand, since he'll want to go out first. ...
