Baxter Highlanders broth I lived on it as a kid. Even now cold and eaten out the tin it's quite soothing.

Vesta Chow Mein was the height of sophistication back in the day! I am sure I saw it recently for sale in Morrisons. My Grannie used to do me hot mushy peas with pepper!

If I'm searching correctly Tescos and Asda has it. May have to try me some one day.

My Mum used to have the odd Vesta, seemed to take an age to cook if I remember. Wasn't it a bit like a deconstructed pot noodle/rice 🤔😅

I remember the deep fried crispy things that went on top. There was a curry too.

I know the feeling, you just can’t beat a bit of comfort food sometimes!

Nutricali I had to read that twice as I thought it was one of your dishes I'd missed,😅

Haha ruudspark 😂 my dish yesterday was genuinely a tin of tomato soup and it was brilliant!

Nutricali I know what you mean, Oxtail with extra veg etc is so nice sometimes for me (I know not your taste) I like the way you support all foods on here, which is what is nice on this forum. Many different diets etc but we all accept and support what works for us 🙂 PS Your presentation takes some beating lol
