men block your ears! ok ladies ... I've discovered that I go up in weight when I'm ovulating. so not only do I go up in weight before it's "that time of the month" (for a few days prior and during) but also about a week afterwards for a few days. This has been a revelation because I have always stayed on plan and my weight fluctuates so much and it is deflating when you try so hard and the scales don't reflect that. BUT now I will stay off them for around 2 weeks of the month and make sure I only weigh myself (for an accurate picture of where I am at) when I am not ovulating or due for my period. Just this week I went from 65.5kg to 66.6kg and now 65.4kg. All whilst sticking to under 20grams of carbs, 1300 cals, high protein (90grams) and low-ish fat (80grams). one or two workouts a day for 5 days a week. so I know I am doing everything I can and it's my monthly cycle that throws me for a loop. hang in there ladies and only weigh yourself when it's the RIGHT time of month. otherwise it's discouraging for no good reason.
