I finally did the weigh-in. Up 3 pounds ... not surprised! It was worth the over-indulgence and now ... I am going back to basics! Hoping to drop to the low 200s by end of January - working for a 8 lb weight loss by then. I am doing everything I can to stop myself from buying any clothes until I am down a couple of sizes or more (I see some serious Spring / Summer shopping in my future). Normally, the sales at this time of the year is a beacon for me. Normally, I buy several things. Normally, cash leaves my hot hands really fast during boxing week. I love Talbots for my business-wear and classic dresses .. but not this year, not even with 40% - 60% off. Things are different this year. I won't buy new clothes since I plan to drop the weight and get some new pieces. (sigh - I love to buy new clothes so thoughts of post-weight loss shopping will have to keep me warm for the next few months!).
