I have to admit, I wasn't as diligent with recording my portions and being honest with myself about what I was eating over the past couple of days. We have been snowed in here and its been a challenge as I am typically much more busy running errands, working in the yard, etc but since we are stuck in the house..I've made excuses for snacking! Good news is: I ran/walk on the treadmill for 30 minutes so I feel so much better AND I planned out my meals! I think that's a big part of it...planning. In the end, Im responsible or what goes in my mouth!!! My husband made a good comment too: When you get ready to eat ANYTHING, ask yourself if the item is truly worth the calories it will consume. If not...DONT eat it! Also consider fiber content so you feel more full! This is helping me tons. I need to find some Chia Seed as I hear a sprinkle of this on top of any foods will fill you longer....straight fiber is the best! :)

Yep, planning is the key & your husbands right, stop to think if you really want to use the calories, now if I could only follow that advice!

I spent a few hours yesterday, cooking and portioning meals for the next couple days. I packaged meat for freezer pre cut into portion sizes. This helps a lot. I have a controlled portion ready to heat up or throw into a skillet. Helps me from overeating, and eating the wrong things.
