I had to adjust my food diary this evening. After I had 2 eggs and ground beef I did not experience hunger again so I did not have my planned dinner. It's interesting that since I stopped the meat and eggs only experiment I have not needed to return to a higher calorie consumption level. I feel satisfied with less overall. Now I don't eat mindlessly or by a set schedule, instead I really focus on whether or not I am hungry. It remains to be seen how this evolves but I am enjoying the weightloss aspect.

You are doing great! I would say you are in ketosis. I meant to ask you about your cole slaw. I just bought some. Are you mixing the coconut oil into it? I love slaw but don't want to eat it without something wet mixed in it. :)

Mom, I use coconut oil on the the slaw. I add approximately 2/3 tblsp of coconut salad oil. It is so delish ... I am addicted. I never seem to get bored.

Okay, I will try that tomorrow. I bought a huge bag of it. Hope I love it too.

I hope so too mom. It works well as a side dish with my meat and I especially enjoy the raw crunchiness of the veggies. The best part is that 1 1/2 cup is only 25 calories and about net 3 carbs. I have also tossed it in with seasoned ground beef and slightly cook it (leaving just a bit of crunchiness to the slaw) and that is also good. My daughter likes that dish a lot.
