Went out with the family for a bite at Boston Pizza. Even though I made good choices (Garden Green Salad and grilled fillet of Salmon) I think my carbs are higher then I have been eating in the past few weeks since coming off the steak and eggs diet. It will be interesting to see the impact on the scale tomorrow. In any case, I am so focused on eating well that it won't matter what the scale says tomorrow - I am in it for the long haul. It would be great if I could get to onederland in March ... that would be an amazing accomplishment for me (a milestone of sorts). There's something to be said about seeing the number "1" as the first digit in your weight, especially when you have not seen that number for more than a decade. Definitely would be a psychological boost more than anything else.

I have almost four months of low carb WOE under my belt and in that time I have lost 24 lbs - this includes December where I ended the month with a 2+ lb gain and January when I didn't lose much of anything. I consider that an amazing accomplishment and it had its challenges along the way. Not to mention how much I have learned in that time about myself (this is the real pay-off). Those aches and pains that made me feel immobile are going away - it's amazing how extra poundage on your body can cripple and age you (mentally as well as physically). I used to think that there were many things physically that I could not do ... now, that's changing because of the energy and motivation. I am so grateful!!!!

I am so glad to read this as I have been floundering around ... and messing about with my food choices. Thank you for re-confirming that low carb eating DOES get rid of body aches and pains and it does age you, doesn't it? Made me feel so proud of you, too, Jenn! That is awesome you have dropped so much weight, too. (((BIG HUGS!!!!)))
