The year 2011 is strange to me ... I keep typing the numbers because is just feels so unreal. Perhaps I am losing my mind!! LOL!!!
Third Pilates workout this week and it didn't feel nearly as difficult as the first two did. I'm far from "fit" or back to where I was but I do feel like there is progress and I am on a healthy path. I'm still waiting to see results on the scale, and really having to be mindful of not becoming discouraged but confident that I will see some results soon with that tool.
We received a few inches of snow yesterday which was actually welcome. Now there is a little more traction on our driveway ... slick underneath still but not nearly as treacherous as before. We may get a few more inches today or rain. I am hoping for the snow rather than the rain.
I'm working from home this morning and then off to the northern most county in Idaho for a visit this afternoon with a family. And then the weekend!! YES.
I'm a little freaked out at how quickly time seems to be passing. These next few months I have a lot to get accomplished. I am hoping to at the very least be back at the top of my range (180-185) before we go to Mexico in March. I'm feeling somewhat panicked that it will not happen and find myself in constant internal motion ... trying to speak more positively to myself, trying to keep myself centered, balanced, calm ... and finding it more challenging than I have in many, many, many, many months. It helps to see what is going on with my buddies. It helps to know I am in very good company. It helps to practice kindness, however imperfectly I do it, and to breathe.
I am grateful this morning for
1. rings that are looser on my fingers 2. pants that zip up comfortably 3. getting back into the Pilates swing of things 4. a clean cancer scan for a co-worker's young son who continues his fight against a rare form of cancer 5. more daylight, with each day that arrives.
I must get to my work ...
I noticed another "old" buddy appears to be back!! Welcome back Glen ... please grace us with your journal entries soon ... we have missed you!!! Doit2it is back too!!! YEA!!!! I love seeing familiar "faces!"
