Switch it up! I’m not one to advocate changing something that works. I lost 5 lbs consistently for 10 months doing the same thing over and over. However, I’ve been stuck for over a year and steady gained about a pound a month last year.

I tried to get back to doing what I did before, but didn’t really want to cut back to 1800 calories for the rapid decline (trying to keep my gainzzzz) Anyway, Jess and I tried a new meal plan and workout and it’s been fun and a little stressful. The change helped me find a few foods not part of my previous regimen for protein and fiber.

So switch it up, if you want. Stick to what works for you (if it’s working) And have the best day!

Looking at your weight graph it looks OK. I know I have to adjust my calorie intake about once every 4-5 weeks. I can't seem to vary much from the 1800 calories if I want to lose. Everytime I move over it, I end up gaining.

It’s ok. I’d like to stay between 215 and 220 to see what that’s like. If I drop the calories to 1800 I’d definitely lose (a lot) of weight.

So what foods did you find for protein and fiber? I'm doing pretty great with the calories, but struggle to keep the protein up.

I am often switching it up to see what works at any given moment - the same things don't always work in the present - good luck!

Nonfat Greek yogurt has a lot of protein for the number of calories. I used it straight as sour cream and added honey and fruit as a sweet snack.

I’ve found some good formulas, but always looking for that edge to improve my diet. I eat a lot so I need all the help I can get.

I’ll add that I didn’t really have too many new learnings, just enjoying some different foods. Chicken is my favorite high protein for the calories (breakfast sausage, chunk canned chicken, and grilled chicken for dinner). I also have some supplements. The new one I found is No Cow protein bar. Taste is bleh, but tons of fiber and plant protein. I kind the sticky cinnamon bun the most.

I think that’s the key Love2educate, to do what works for you!! With encouragement from the group to stay on your own path one will get where they are going. Happy Easter Eve!👍

Remember that if something (like yogurt) is non fat it is going to be higher in carbs, and if it is low carb it will be higher in fats. So depending on your WOE , those are your two choices. Flavor has to come from somewhere

The no cow bars are a bit bleh but by far in my humble opinion the cleanest. Try warming up bitty pieces in the microwave and drop into plain Greek yogurt for a flavor boost

Good point Kenna! I can afford more carbs most days and grams of fat count more than double to calories! Thanks for the tips LowKey!
