I know i'ts hard. The key for me was the discipline of recording EVERYTHING tha goes in my mouth. How many calories aday are you truly eating. Anything less that 1000 will backfire on you. Can actually cause you to gain weight. My doc told me 1200 a day. I'm 105 lbs overweight. I know it's frustrating, but you can get there. :)
