I don't know why things have stalled this way so early on. I feel like I've reached a point where calorie restriction and brisk dog walks alone are not going to keep the scale going down. Which I resent, because 1300 calories feels like it should just keep working dangit! 🤣 I don't know if my underative thyroid is contributing, but get to talk to the endocrinologist again on Friday. For now, getting under 220 (even though it felt like forever coming!!!) will have to be good enough.

Time to start using the Pilates machine I got in January? It must be! 😂🏋️‍♀️🥗

What is your daily water consumption? At least 64 ounces and add one glass if you can. One day at a time, one pound at a time. In the meantime focus on your life, and enjoying your walks with the dog. 🐶☀️

My progress stalled this week early into it as well, went up even. I figure its a couple things, body/metabolism adjusting and whatever contents are stuck in my body at that given time.Hang on to your patience, it'll come. Good luck at your appt!

You still has a loss - that's great news! It may be slow, but it's headed in the right direction. I keep telling myself that I did not get to this weight overnight, so I have to be patient and allow my body the same amount of time to take it off. Hang in there!

I find that it is easy to have unreasonable expectations around weight loss. Generally I find if I lose 3-4 pounds per 4 week chunks I am making good sustainable progress. Maybe track your weight over 4 weeks. I weigh myself daily. Roll that info into what I have done in 7 days. Write that number down. Then after 4 weeks, I can see the trend. That tells the overall story of weight loss better than the daily fluctuations. As for getting the greatest value for your weight loss effort - it always comes down to what and how much you eat. Exercise has lots of value to your body however it isn't the place where you will lose lots more. Exercise tones, strengthens your body inside and out and has great mental health aspects but is generally inefficient in the weight loss arena. Calculate the amount of exercise it takes to work off one cookie and put that up against not eating that cookie in the first place!

Keep in mind that your journy is not all about the scale, it’s about adjusting to a healthier lifestyle. Just preserve. It sounds like you are off to a good start. Add some resistance training, evaluate what you are eating

Thanks for the support guys! I'm going to up my water intake and remain diligent and patient with my calorie restriction. I appreciate the encouragement. :)
