Saturday August 7th 2021 - make with single piece of belly pork - in the morning 0900 scored the belly and poured boiling water over it then dried off and put into the fridge. At 1700 run up airfryer on 200 C for 3 minutes to warm it. Val prepared vegetables. Pork in with crackling side up in the top part to leave room for tray in the bottom. Cooked for 15 minutes and checked with meat thermometer, finished up to 25 minutes ( extra 10) at 200C. Put potatoes, sweet potatoes and carrots in the aluminium container and everything in the airfryer finish off for 25 minutes at 180. Remove meat and let it stand and finish vegetables for 5 minutes 200 C to crisp them up a bit.

Preheat Air Fryer to 200°C.

Score pork belly very well without cutting through the fat layer completely. Place pork belly onto the rack that fits in the airfryer and place into a sink. Pour over boiling water, allowing it to drain away. Pat dry with paper towel.

Rub skin with salt, vinegar and EVOO. Finishing off with extra salt.

Place pork belly into the Air Fryer and cook for 25-30 minutes at 200°C. Check and add a few minutes if needed.


1kg piece of boneless pork belly, scored, without cutting the meat. Choose a piece slightly larger than your air fryer dish as it will shrink back a little.
1 Litre boiling water
2 Pinches Pink Salt Flakes BUY
1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
20 Grams Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) BUY
