The last time I seriously dieted I had to lose 11 kilos to reach my goal weight (that was about twenty + years ago!) I remember having two serious plateaus - despite being very committed to my eating and exercise plan. Not that I remember exactly when they happened, but I seem to think that they occurred about a third and two thirds of the way through the programme. That would have been at 4 kilos and at 8 kilos down. I am pretty sure I am having a plateau now - not much movement for over a week but, and this is the big drum roll, I have lost 13 kilos so far! (That is more than the total amount I had to lose the last time I dieted!) So, I am pretty happy to be plateauing at this stage :)
