Thank you for all your supportive comments on yesterday's journal entry. It's nice to be a part of this community.
I've had a pretty good day. Shopped for something to wear to granddaughter's 2 HS graduations. Regular HS and CGS graduations. (Commonwealth Governor's School) I found 2 pair of pants a size smaller than I have been wearing, and a couple tops. Came home, did laundry and packed the last of the kitchen stuff that I am keeping.
Called a couple moving companies to see what it will cost for them to move me, rather than doing UHaul. Definitely not my favorite kind of thing to figure out. It's been many years since I've moved, and never alone.
I've been going to our local senior center for their 1 hour exercise class 3x week. And I have tried line dancing. I've never done it before, and these 80 and 90 yr olds are a blast! At 69, they think I'm just a kid. That makes me laugh.
I also stay for lunch most days, then go home and pack some more. Tuesday is a special tailgate party (inside) and I need to take tailgate food. Hmmm, wonder what I can take that is healthy? Any suggestions? I'm thinking about some kind of appetizer that can go in the crockpot, or that is easy to pick up. Others are already bringing veggie trays and chips.
