Blood sugar around 210 most of the day today. I don't know if it is the insulin or the carb diet I'm on. Joining fitness club again tomorrow. Dr Appt tomorrow will see how long I have to do insulin shots. On the bright side no more pulmonary embolisms!

Good luck with the exercise program and your Dr appnt. I hope that all goes well. This is a doc on diabetes that you may be interested in on diabetes on You Tube called Simply Raw Reversing Diabetes. This is the link. It may or may not be of any interest to you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2pjkC71exKU

I am convinced for "me" to lower and maintain my BS, I must walk every day at a moderate pace. At 71, I am thankful and grateful that I am able to do this because it is the answer for me. F.Y.I..... I am on 1000 MG daily, of metformin with no insulin injections. I accept that what I eat is important as it pertains to portions; however, reeving up my metabolism is the real key to maintaining my BS. I'm convinced my liver is "more" responsible for excessive glucose in my blood stream than what I eat. And the only way to combat that... is to speed up my metabolism by walking.

Thanks for the info, after Dr appt weight went up to 234 in a week due to the insulin making my body absorb the sugar instead of voiding it. He raised insulin for long acting from 25 units to 32 per day. Said may be able to get put on pills and cut out insulin shots before meals in a month or so.
