It's tough, but losing weight is the only way to reduce it slowly. Best of luck 🍀

I would advise getting on a ketogenic diet-high protein and fat and very low carbs,do more cardiovascular exercises and stomach workouts

Just keep in mind that it does take a long time to lose it, so u gotta stay determined, either volume eat but make sure your eating in a calorie deficit, then just keep at it with ab excersices and you'll be great

So the thing to know is, you can't spot reduce fat. Rather focus on total weight loss by implementing a calorie deficit to your diet. Waist trainers also don't work. Make changes in the diet. This community posts a lot of meal ideas you can try. And be patient. Good luck.

Thank you guys for the advice. I have been eating at a calorie deficit and trying to limit my carbs. This is only month one for my weight loss journey, I’m just being impatient 😅

Accelerate belly fat loss by cutting carbs… anything “bread” and pasta are your first cuts that you can eliminate for some time!

NEVER cut out food groups like carbs. Can't believe people still advise this. So unhealthy and puts you into a diet mindset which will lead to failure. NO specific food group causes fat in specific areas of your body - it just doesn't work that way. Calories in vs calories out - ALWAYS. Carbs don't hinder your progress but a lack of protein definitely does.
The best thing to do is to up your protein. Protein, protein, protein. You need that muscle fuel to burn stubborn fats and to keep it off. But you also need carbs and fats. Protein feeds your body, carbs and fats give you energy. So don't cut anything out, just up your protein.

The best thing that has worked for me is reducing my alcohol intake, being mindful of calories I consume. I still have a big tummy but I finally have a waistline. Others recommend following a low carb high protein diet. I've seen people who fast also get good results in terms of reducing belly fat.

less sugar and alcohol. Change to whole grains which are lower GI and which release their sugars slower which is less likely to cause insulin spikes is what I understand from my doctor. apparently excessive belly fat is an indicator of type 2 diabetes (caused by insulin immunity that comes from eating too much refined sugar) and of possible heart problems. Again, not an expert by any means but I think this is what medics believe at the moment. Also is very difficult to lose that fat around the belly so stay patient and remember slow and steady wins the race and choose something that is whole foods over anything processed or refined.

make sure that its actually fat and not bloat, sometimes you can have a food intolerance such as dairy intolerance that makes you bloat on the belly really badly!
