Dammit, came within inches of getting hit by a speeding car going southbound in the Northbound lane!
I was just crossing my street From getting the mail. and its a residential street 30MPH, 6 houses from a middle school.
Im just so damned tired of this, its been like this for years, had traffic detail out here numerous times, but they never come out at peak times when most speeding and other infractions occur.
plus everything else going on now. Im still shaking like a keaf. LEAF f-it

Can you get the tag number and report it to the cops?

car was going fast so i couldnt get the tag, plus i think i was so startled. I did call the police and filed an incident plus a BOLO. Now that Im calmed down I think I'll do the normal thing; meet with my city commisioner, traffic engineering and rally the neighbors for a local tv news story.

I doubt it, G. Fire-REscue has complained mightily of speed tables and bumps slowing response time. Maybe the little ones spaced close together would be ok.
