Morning workout was spoiled by my 2 year old, bless his heart. I was up at 4:45, got my workout clothes on. Did my 75 crunches and was just about to hit the treadmill when I heard him screaming. I went to check on him and he wouldn't stop crying. He just wanted me to hold him. After about 20 minutes, he passed gas then had a horrible bowel movement. Poor little guy...no wonder he was screaming. Changed him and got him bathed and by that point was 5:45 almost time for me to hit the shower and get ready for work.
Tonight will have to get a mile in after my Shred workout. I am wanting to start doing a 5K every morning. I am planning to run in a local 5K in October. In September I am planning along with my expectant sister, doing the Alzheimers' Association Memory Walk. My grandmother and great-grandmother were both affected by the disease. Granny is still with us in spirit, but has no idea who we are. When Papaw Doc died 2 summers ago, she had no idea (that we can tell). They would have been married 60 years that November. Such a sad disease and one that I am concerned about as it is obviously a strong genetic possibility for my family. 2 generations developed it, maybe more before them as they might just not have known to diagnosis is before Mema got it in the late 70s early 80s. Granny is doing great in the nursing home and enjoying her surroundings which is good. She is in a happy place.

We did however get .10 inch of rain around 7pm last night. When you haven't had rain since May 24th, that was awesome. My husband and boys played out in it, the video I took is too funny. They all had their cowboy hats on and were throwing them towards the sky, youngest was doing his version of a rain dance, etc.
