Anyone got any tips for not waking up in the middle of the night with an unconquerable urge to go down to the pantry and ruin the previous day's progress?

Get up and drink copious amounts of water...I add lemon juice or I can't stomach it. That's what I tell myself when I wake up with the midnight munchies.
Or have something healthy prepared in the fridge for those moments. I like sugar free jelly...hits the sweet tooth spot without adding too much to the bottom line.

That's a tough one 🤔
I think water is a good way to go, as we often confuse thirst and hunger. I've gargled mouth wash a few times during midnight munchies. It changes the taste in the mouth, but also creates thay mild burn/fresh feeling, and food isn't as good after listerine 😂 I hope you find something that works for you 💚

As the others have suggested, water is great, but also maybe try adding some more lean protein to your evening meal. I found 50-80g chicken breast is filling and crushes the hunger pangs longer than biscuits and chips...

More Protein, fibre, fat & Water in your evening meal. They should all help to keep you satisfied for far longer than carbs or sugars.
