likat, 🤣🤣 you are so funny! My blue heeler is not like any other! She loves to go to the park but once around and she is ready to come home. We think it's more about being with us rather than being outside. She would make a great apartment dog as she only goes out at home to " do her business" The rest of time she is a Velcro dog. We love her so much, even with her qirks, and there are many. We rescued her out of an extremely abusive home. She didn't know inside noises so things like tearing a piece of foil or hearing the toilet flush terrified her. We have worked with her daily and she still has a lot of fear but she does trust us now. We have had her 4 years.  

Sounds like she got the family that was meant to help her and love her. Dogs are the best i dont understand abusers. They are so innocent

Wifey, thanks ! 💪💜 Mom isn't doing well at all. Stroking alot ( mini) and mind isn't to sharp. She sees people that aren't there, is confused alot but still hangs in there. We are going there in 2 weeks to see her.❤️❤️

YOH, Yes we felt like because we were retired we had the time and energy to spend with her. Also we knew if we returned her she would be euthanized as I think she would be deemed unadoptable. She was unpredictable in the beginning. We literally could not have company for the first year we had her! Now if we have someone comes over and we take her out front to greet them she will be ok and that works about 80% of the time. It's funny cuz on walks with Joe she will cower behind him if anyone approaches but at home the territorial thing kicks in. Every day while I'm at gym Joe takes her to the nearby park to socialize her. She could care less about other dogs, she just sticks like glue to Joe.
