Diario di Magpiezoe, 30 giu 23

Ate so much food yesterday, that I was overfull. Too full even for super, but still ate. Just couldn't stop eating the entire day and not sure why! It seems to be out of boredom, but then my coworker almost polish off my candy jar, which may have contributed to it. (Yes, I have a candy jar and usually only ever eat 1 to stave away hunger. Also, I fill it with small bite-sized, wrapped candies to keep the calories down.) Not sure if I really recorded everything I ate at work.

Came home and started looking for lower calorie candy. Got triggered with an idea when I thought of Jordon almonds, which lead to chocolate covered almonds and thought.....wait...I have a ton of baking almonds in the cupboard! Yep, looked up recipes for chocolate covered almond. Wound up making cocoa roasted almonds. Pretty cool! It was quick and easy. Just roast the almonds at 350 for a few minutes until crunchy and warm. Then toss them in a mixture of cocoa, cinnamon, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. (You can use an artificial sweetener instead of the sugar.) Let them cool down and voila!
