hi everyone, I am still going to record my food. But I am going to take a break from my dieting and still eat healthily but what I want and proper meals. It is so tiring eating 500-800 calories a day so I am going to try and get them a bit higher but not too high. My aim is around 1,200 tops for today! Hope everyone is well.

Speaking from experience, I started early in life, under 10yrs of age, with "dieting". Bad advice from nutritionists and the low fat of the 1980s, led me into years of yo-yo dieting. The worst "diet" I was prescribed was the low cal, low fat, eating less than 800 cals a day. My body shut down. I hate giving advice, as we're all individuals here on our own journeys. That being said, please stay away from those 800 cal diets. You're still growing, and need all the nutrients you can get from whole foods. Besides, you look fantastic at your current weight.

That's sound like a good plan. I hope you learn to judge yourself how you feel by asking yourself; am I feeling healthy, do I have energy, and am I feeling run down by not getting proper nutrition. How you think you look or focussing on that is obviously not healthy. Body images in popular media should and can be ignored as they may be of thin people but are usually not of physically or mentally healthy people. If people can't see your beauty on the inside then they are superficial and not worth your time.

Make sure u get enough protein for that low calorie intake.. that’s making u tired hun Be gentle with yourself

If you have followed this site for any length of time then you already KNOW that is not a healthy calorie intake and will not result in your desired weight loss.

Anything under 1500 is not healthy.

Calories is a very personal and individual thing. What is healthy and unhealthy is pretty subjective. Not commenting one way or another, but only you know how hard you can push yourself. Just don’t ignore red flags 🚩 . Be safe. And keep the protein up! 💪💪

Jon she is a teenager her body is still growing. She can cause permanent damage to her body if she goes too low for too long. This is why i have been concerned for her. Look at her food journal and her age before you say something like that. Many people dont understand what can happen to their bodies both under nourishing and obviously over feeding themselves. Im not trying to be mean I just happened to read Christine’s post and looked at her food journal and she is still growing.

@Kenna Morton there is no need to be aggressive I don't mind help but that is not very useful. What is not a healthy calorie intake, I find 1,200 calories more than enough I am only 5'2.

@StormsGirl Honestly, eating 1,500 calories feels like quite a lot for me. It depends on height and other things.

Well I think it’s crazy to want to lose another 16lbs when you look skinny already... that’s anorexic physique

Super she is itty bitty. 5’2. But she is a young teenager meaning she will still grow in height. I think she’s at a healthy weight but if she were an adult and done growing then 110 -125 pounds would be healthy depending on bone structure right. It’s just her age right now.
