Back on tracking been on autopilot for over 3 wks and I have enjoyed the break eat all different foods plus macas kfcs pizzas and of course I had 2 cases of Heineken in that period. But maintained my steps around 10000 steps at least or more it’s a bonus. Only 3 days now at the gym. Give the body some weights de loading for 6 weeks. Let’s go keep smashing those ¡GOALS!

Can you explain what weights deloading is please? What is the purpose/ benefit?

Deloading means you either take a week off meaning just rest or back off from your normal intense workout still training though so in my case I took off 1 wk before last year and I find pretty hard to lift close to my normal weights whereas 10 years ago that was not a problem.
So this time I cut down to 3 days a week from 6 and use weights of 80% of my normal weights.
And now still lifting 3 days but the intense is back so in a week I have leg days on Monday and Friday and Wednesday is upper body.

If you knew how I got into fitness and to this lifestyle I’m adopting now you would be surprised or it may not because lots of people started this way or from some other health issues. I started after dr advised to take up some weight training due to ongoing lower back problems from an accident way back in my uni days.
It was very difficult and hard and painful let alone a simple stretch but I kept at it cause it’s the only way to find out if it’s going to help by strengthening lower back muscles and it did. Ever since then the gym became my church even after taking long breaks the pain creeps back and I know it’s time to get back to church.
Nutrition at the time was fairly alright I would say but I could not figure out the fat loss side of it until 3 years ago.

True outside is beautiful walking in the sunshine. At work over lunch I start to see more and more staff are taking some of their lunch hour to stroll around the campus. Nice to see that!!

UDTZres what a lucky guy to have xtra treats without weight being affected. I cannot deviate off mine as everything I've achieved would be undone. Keeping HEALTHY is my 1st and only goal.

After tracking for nearly 3 years now I finally learned about macros ratios and calories with resistance training. I know I will never give up resistance training for the fact that it’s important for our physical and mentally health plus longevity. So as long you know what to do and be in a healthy weight and not being hungry all the time I think that is great.
You’re doing well on your journey!
