One of the things that has surprised me on this journey is how willing restaurants are to accommodate my preference for a small meal. Every single place will let me order a kids meal or get things a la carte. I am such a cheap date these days! 😂

It has really made it a lot easier to manage my portion sizes. Don't hesitate to ask... all they can say is no!

Shot #11 in. I'm down 30 pounds in 10 weeks. I am happy with that... don't want it any faster even though I'm impatient to lose this weight! I have to take a break from the Mounjaro to have surgery which just so happens to coincide with my cruise. I am anxious to see what that does.

My wife went to Whataburger the other day. She ordered the hamburger alone. The clerk reminded her that it was cheaper to order the meal deal (with fries and a coke) than order just the burger. She paid more for just the burger. No more Whataburger for us.

That's great they're so accommodating. The hard part for many of us who grew up in the "clean plate club" is to moderate when it's on the plate. I also wish more restaurants offered healthier appetizers. I've heard the advice to order appetizers instead of a meal, but when all options are deep fried, it's kind of counterproductive
