Went for my run Sat. morning. This week I had to increase it to 7 1/2 miles. At first I thought it be tough, but when I woke up I saw that it was cloudy and quite chilly. It was the perfect weather to run in. I really felt strong throughout. I was able to run at a pretty consistent pace. I finished strong and that is a good indicator for me that I'm becoming a stronger runner.
I have a mark where I always check my time and I was very shocked to see that I had run it in 11 minutes faster than the previous week. I finished my run in 1 hour and 25 minutes. It is pretty good, however I need to increase it by a lot if I plan on beating my previous time of 2 hrs 3 minutes for 13.1 mes. I still gave a long way to go so I know it can happen.
Tomorrow I will do 45 minute run. I plan on getting to this place on the river bed. It's not so close to work and I think it will be about 4 miles. We'll see how it goes. Hopefulle with this weather it will go as planned.
