We Americans wear our stress around our waistlines. I know that's a big deal for me. In some ways women have it easier. We men are "supposed" to not stress, so we bury it and get ulcers instead. But yeah, I know what you mean. I got a new assignment this year, "mentor" to the youngest of our new hires. Some of them, I would not have hired, so it's stress, too...not quite like kids, but sometimes it feels like it. I've developed a very bad habit this year, and that is to drink to excess when stresed. Never used to do that. Something changed in my life and I don't know what. A few friends died last year and this, who were "too young", so maybe that's it...an overwhelming sense of my own mortality? Anyway, hang in there. I know for me, entering all my food here in FS has helped - it helps me see when I've packed on 5 extra in a week, and then I'll do something to compensate. Left unchecked, I think I would have porked up by 30 pounds so far this year. Less desirably, it shows that I've nearly single-handedly kept the Goose River Brewing company in business this year.
