Today is my daughter's 21st birthday! OMG, can't believe my baby is that old. Time flies. Guess the lesson here is to enjoy the journey, right? I'm taking her for her first legal drink today, hope she has a good time. Her girlfriend couldn't get the day off, so she's been upset about it for weeks now. And she doesn't get off until 10:00pm :( So I'm hoping she'll let me fill in for the entertainment portion this afternoon and the first part of the evening. No calorie counting today!

HerStrawberri - thanks! I've passed the birthday wishes on. My head is a little... uh... cloudy? heavy? today. :D We ended up having a great time, overall. (finally - lots of drama getting to that point). Her girlfriend was dropped off at the bar by a co-worker so she could drive us home. Sat and had another beer (idk how many altogether!) after her girlfriend arrived. She drank cokes :D Plus she won't be 21 until Feb. Ended up being a lot of fun and she loved being asked for her ID!

Yvonne - yep, the drama somehow gets more intense! So much for 15 being the height of melodrama for girls! lol.. But lots of fun, too. Thank goodness!
