Try and get yourself into a 'want to' mindset. That is positive. 'Have to' is negative.
Go and sit by yourself and talk to yourself, be kind to yourself.
Say 'I don't HAVE TO' over and over for a few times, then start thinking about WHY you WANT to and ponder on those thoughts for a while. Find your WHY and embrace it.

I know this year will be completely different as I know my choice for weightloss will be slower than before because it will be a lifestyle change for me more than a quick fix/race. 🤗

I fee the same way. For once in my life I am not looking for a quick fix but a lifestyle change that I am making in chunks that I am confident and like to do.

I had the same problem last year, just couldn't do it and was tired of failing. Start tracking your fiber, hit 30g a day and that alone will boost your motivation. You'll never feel hungry. Psyllium husk is your best dieting friend.

I kept telling myself 'if you haven't tried for 12 months, you can't say you actually tried'. It worked to keep me going through the plateus.
