I think I cut my calories too quickly and too much. After reading around, I think eating 200 -300 kcal under maintenance for two weeks may be beneficial for me. Whilst sustaining the same level of activity ( strength training, running and hiking )
Terrified for obvious reasons but I think it will be beneficial in the long term.
If anyone has experience or a better approach to this please let me know.
