A little drop yet again.
I had a physical yesterday with a follow up to my bloodwork. My good cholesterol was lower than she would have liked, but everything else was in normal range.
My doctor suspects I have Gilbert Syndrome, which is harmless. My liver just doesn't properly/efficiently process bilirubin. This would account for the yellowish tinge in my eyes recently, likely caused by a lower calorie diet, and the elevated bilirubin levels in my bloodwork. Liver enzymes were well within normal range, and overall functionality looks good. No risk of liver disease or failure.
We discussed different methods of intermittent fasting. She suggested a 24 hours fast to help me get out of my plateaus. I think I'll give it a try! Don't have anything to lose.
