Well I failed! I did everything I could think of to not turn 60 but it happened anyway. On all of my reports I used the the year 2023-2 but no matter how hard I tried I could not get universal adoption. And tonight I thought I found an out.
I am in Phoenix so I turn 60 3 hours later than at home. So then it hit me all I need to do is fly west and keep going back an hour! After realizing there are more than a few flaws to that theory I have just given up and turned 60.

Oh well here is to making my 60’s my best decade yet!

Happy birthday!! It can happen!! Honestly, my dad is 61 and doing and feeling his best. hes developed a healthier mindset with alcohol now that hes processed the death of his older brother, his wife and his mom (my uncle, aunt and yiayia). his hip replacement went well and hes feeling great. He told me that he feels better at 61 then 51.

I’m now 75 and still healthy and happy but I think the very best years of my life were 40-60. Kids grown and on thier own, single with lots of single friends, no responsibilities and money enough to do what I wanted to. Life is a little different now because many of my friends can no longer do the things we have always done. That is sad but that is what often happens.

@gillian. I have heard it doesn’t rain often in Phoenix. It has rained every time I’ve been here. My co workers have asked that I don’t return. Yes I’m taking the blame for todays deluge

You should enjoy the 60s. From 55 - 70, I just had a great time and loved the experience. It is a great time of life.
